Popped in for late lunch excellent service .good food .fresh veg steak brilliant well done
Took the family (4 of us) for a Christmas meal a few days ago. We didn't expect fine dining, but at the same time we weren't expecting the atrocious food that was served up.
The prawn cocktail starter contained about 3 prawns, a couple of wilted lettuce leaves and hardly any sauce, but the worst was yet to come; the main meal consisted of Turkey (3 slices of dry meat), pigs in blankets (one single piece of burnt sausage), sprouts (2 sprouts each), cauliflower cheese (one floret of cauliflower with no cheese sauce), stuffing (a single ball, overcooked and rock hard) and gravy which was as thin as water.
I wouldn't normally write a bad review but this should have been a special occasion and needless to say we won't be visiting again anytime soon.
